Multiple Indecent Acts

Between May 27th and June 20th there have been four reported indecent exposure incidents involving a silver sedan type vehicle. The male has been described as male white, slim build, light brown hair, 20-30 yrs. This male approaches females in his vehicle and asks them for directions. While he is speaking to them he committing an indecent act from within the vehicle.

Store Clerk Coughed On

On June 23rd, 2020, the Guelph Police were called to investigate an incident at retail store near Norfolk Street and Commercial Street in the City of Guelph.  A male and a female customer entered the store and while both wore masks, the female had her mask pulled down under her chin.  A store employee approached to assist the couple and the female was asked to wear the mask correctly.  She complied with the request for a short time, but as the couple approached the checkout area, a second employee noticed the females mask was not being worn correctly.  This employee made a second request that the female wear the mask correctly.  As the couple left the store, the female customer took her mask off, turned her head and couched on the first employee.

Disturbance Leads to Arrest for Impaired Operation

On June 23, 2020, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Guelph Police Service were called to a disturbance at a business located near Wellington Street West and Imperial Road in the City of Guelph.   A male was causing a disturbance and refusing to wear a mask.  Police arrived and found the male to be in an intoxicated state.  Further investigation revealed that at approximately 8:55 p.m., the male had been operating a motor vehicle and had been involved in a single vehicle collision on Laird Road in the County of Wellington.  The male was placed under arrest for Impaired Operation and transported to Hospital as a precaution.  While at the Hospital, as officers escorted the male to a washroom, the male assaulted one of the Officers.

A 19 year old Cambridge male has been charged with:   Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol, Fail to Stop After an Accident and Assault Police.  The accused is schedule to appear in Guelph Court on September 25, 2020.
