Remembrance Day Service at the Sleeman Centre
Doors open at 9 a.m. Service begins at 10:10 a.m.

Remembrance Day Services at McCrae Memorial Gardens
9 to 9:30 a.m.  Service offered by Royal Canadian Legion, Colonel John McCrae Memorial Branch 234
10:30 a.m.  Remembrance assembly by John McCrae Public School students

Laying of wreaths at the Cross of Sacrifice at Guelph Central Station
9:30 to 9:50 a.m.
This brief ceremony is hosted by the International Order of Daughters of the Empire (IODE).

Woodlawn Memorial Park Remembrance Day Service
10:45-11:45 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich St.

Legion Poppy Campaign
October 25 to November 11
Poppies are available throughout Guelph, and donations support veterans and their families.

Pre-Remembrance Day Dinner at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234
Saturday, November 10, 6 p.m.
Tickets available at the Legion.

Remembrance Day at McCrae House
Admission by donation, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In honor of Remembrance Day, all flags at all City facilities will be half-masted on November 11.

Guelph Transit will provide regular Monday service on Remembrance Day. At 11 a.m. all buses will stop at safe points on each route and pause for two minutes to honor Canada’s veterans.

The City offers an annual free transit and parking pass for Guelph veterans.

City Hall, administration offices and Guelph Library are closed. Recreation Centres are open, and waste collection will take place on your regular collection day.
